Microgrids, Minigrids, Hybrid Grids

... are power grids, which are temporarily or permanently idenpendent from a centralized grid. Hybrid Grids are incorporating power sources like water- or wind turbines, biomass systems or solar power systems (either PV or thermal) as well as short- or medium term energy storage systems.
Depending on their design the independency from grid is either by default or only in case of grid blackouts. They may provide sufficient energy to operate all connected loads 24/7 or only to bridge a specific blackout periode for selected mission critical applications.

PV-Systems (PVS)

... are one of the simpliest and in some geographies cheapest way to generate electricity, but only over a limited periode of time (daylight).
They might produce sufficient energy to sublement grid supplied energy or produce more than temporarily needed, while excess energy is stored in batteries for later or night use.

PV Systems are technically designed to make sure that their generated energy is consumed first by loads connected to the same main distribution board. No additional electrical switches or electronic components are needed to utilize this functionality.

Battery Systems (BESS)

Battery Energy Storage Systems are incorporated in a microgrid or campus grid to balance energy between generation, storage and consumption to make sure that the entire system is run efficiently - load balancing and peak shaving.

We are using latest LFP battery technology only to enable high cycle times and therefore long life time.

Design criteria's

We are providing grid tied PV-Systems integrated into customers infrastruktur to reduce total energy cost. Optional this can be complemented with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) or diesel gen-sets to decrease grid dependancy.

All our designs are German TUV verified for a 25 years system design life time. Therefore all standard components are produced by Tier 1 manufacturer with the respective bankable material and performance warranties.

An Advanced Energy Management System including plant controller and SCADA interface to enable seamless integration into existing IT world for reliable operation is part of our solution packages.

 

Departemental Solutions

The Ganymede solution provides functionalities, which islands mission critical applications and enables industry grade operational availability in case of grid failure. Green source energy from PV or other technologies, complemented with Battery Storage Systems is the core part of this solution.

Based on customers load profiles, our solution is tailored to the specific requirements of each individual side or campus. The technical design will as well foresee flexible upgradeability and extendability to protect your green investment and enables unrestricted growth and adjustment to the ever changing business environment.

Campus Solutions

... solution is a comprehensive power failure safe solution package for the entire company energy infrastructure.
With reliable power islanding of mission critical applications with PV- and Battery Systems in case of grid failure, a user will be able to run an entire campus to the maximum possible on green energy sources.

Even industries like food processing or mines are favoring this solution, especially when it is complemented with our comprehensive PPA based finance package.

Car Ports

... solution is one more way to utilize additional open space to implement PV systems for your company.
Especially in sunny and hot environments a car port solution can provide additional comfort for your employees and guest. Shaded parking, green energy generation and eletrical vehicle (EV) charging are the three main features of our carport solution.
